This Bangkok Travel Agent has a strong internet presence including extensive web pages and several e-mail addresses. I have used them before via FAX; twice for trips to Vietnam and once for a trip to Laos, and was quite pleased. They did not respond at all to my several e-mail messages.   After I arrived in Bangkok I decided to visit them personally .  When I asked for plane tickets to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, they insisted I needed a visa in advance and were astounded when I informed them that I was sure I could get one on arrival for US$20.00.  (How could an agent that has specialized in Southeast Asia travel for years be unaware of the visa requirements for Cambodia?)

I finally walked out of their Wireless Road office when they informed me that it was absolutely impossible to work out a one-day connecting flight from Siem Reap to Koh Samui via Phnom Penh and. So, I walked around the corner to Bangkok Travel Agent KS&S Travel where everything, inlcuding my 'impossible' one day connection from Siem Reap to Koh Samui, was handled with efficient professionalism in about 15 minutes.

Lesson learned -- until the on-line Thai travel agents are ready-for-prime-time, it's better to do business via more traditional methods.
